After one year away from Vientiane, the river front has become become and scenic.  The main attraction of the river front Chao Anouvong Park, would be the statue of Chao Anouvong.

Chao Anouvong was the last monarch of Lao Kingdom of Vientiane and considered a hero.

Commercial photographers would gather at the statue to ask visitors if they want to take photos...









The statue is imposing and it faces the Mekong

River.

This is a good place for strolling and jogging. 

And playing sepak takraw.


The night market is located in the same vicinity.
