This blog includes my 2 interests: attending arts performances and travels. It serves as a documentation of the Singapore arts and culture scene. For my travels, I hope my experience will make your next trip more fruitful and enjoyable.

Having Banh Da at Little Hanoi Restaurant
It started to rain while I was waiting for someone for dinner.
It got worse...
and I knew the dinner appointment may not happen...
So I ended up at Little Hanoi Restaurant at Ta Hien Street, an eatery that has been around for some time. A small restaurant with a cosy environment.
I ordered the banh da (fresh spring roll with meat, lettuce, onions, herbs, cucumber) which tasted lovely. At around 80,000d (US$4) the price was reasonable.
After dinner, the rain stopped and the water on the streets subsided.
(Ta Hien Street. Little Hanoi was on the right, further down).
The streets slowly came back to life...
And the people of Hanoi were out in force again.
