The Bukit Brown Cemetery generated a lot of attention as there are plans to build an expressway over it, and part of it have to makeway. I joined a guided tour to know more about the history.
The cemetery was located between Lornie Road and Mount Pleasant Road, in a tranquil environment suitable for a walk or jog. for a walk or jog.

But of course, the main aim was to look at the old graves.
Some of the graves had beautiful ornaments.
We climbed up a small hill and came upon the largest grave in the park.
The last grave that we visited was interesting as it had a guard in front of it.
Bt Brown Cemetery provides a lot of history to us Singaporeans. It is sad that part of it would make way for the expressway. Hopefully, there would be an amicable solution to it.
