Carly Rae Jepsen, Psy and Cee Lo Green held centrestage at Singapore Social Concert, 24 May

When I arived at Garden By the Bay, Blush had already performed its set and Carly Rae Jepsen just came on stage.  I caught Carly the previous evening at the Social Star Awards held at Marina Bay Sands, and was hopping to see her performing other materials.

She did not dissappoint, putting on a good show for over an hour, and presented songs such as This Kiss, Beautiful, Curiosity, I Take a Picture (American Idol song) and Good Time (originally with Owl City).  Of course, the biggest kara-oke session happened when she sang her breakout hit Call Me Maybe.   Carly is a competent performer and she would have a long career ahead of her.

Psy was next in the line-up and he did a short set of only 4 songs.  He told the crowd that even though most could not understand the lyrics of his songs, they still enjoyed them as music was universal.

He performed 2 of his hits, "Gentlemen" and "Gangnam Style".  He mentioned that a year ago, he was in Singapore as a tourist.  And this time round, he was lucky to be back as a performer.  He also asked the fans to support his album due in September.

After some setup time, Cee Lo Green came onto the stage.  While he may not have the best vocals, Cee Lo Green had good stage presence, and his set was more adult-oriented.

In the middle of his performance, he removed his long robe costume and showed us his belly!

He covered such tunes as David Bowie's Let Dance, Don't Cha (written for Pussycat Dolls).  Of course he did 2 songs that were familiar with fans - Crazy and f***ked you.  The latter got fans shouted the f-word without him singing it.

The sound system broke down on a few occassions which disrupted the performance.  This however could not take away a good set perfromed by Cee Lo Green.  Of the 3 performers, I enjoyed his set most.
