Review: Gruesome Playground Injuries, World-In-Theatre

This play by Rajiv Joseph talked about the meetings of a man and a woman from childhood to adulthood, of which injuries and illness were the central theme.  The play however did not progress much through the 8 scenes,
and audience did not relate to the 2 protagonists.

Director Susan Penrice Tyrie did her best to hold the production together, but most scenes were at the same pace and tension.  The 2 actors Tania Mukherjee and Musa Fazal were competent though they seemed to be struggling in the more dramatic scenes.

This is a good attempt by this theatre company.  It could have chosen another play to stage.
