This blog includes my 2 interests: attending arts performances and travels. It serves as a documentation of the Singapore arts and culture scene. For my travels, I hope my experience will make your next trip more fruitful and enjoyable.

Restaurant Xôi Yến: Place for sticky rice
At the junction of Nguyen Huu Huan (No 35B) and Hang Bac Street in the old town, a well known eatery Restaurant Xôi Yến serves good sticky rice.
This place is very busy in the evening, probably the Vietnamese have it as a snack or supper. It is quite easy to find this place, as there would be lots of motobikes parked at the eatery and a crowd gathering there.
English menu is available.
You could order meat to go with the xoi (sticky rice). For me, I ordered something like a "meat cake" or pate, and consumed with cucumber and tomato sauce.
It is filling, so do not over-order. Recommended.
For Hang Bac Street, try Nang Cafe
