This blog includes my 2 interests: attending arts performances and travels. It serves as a documentation of the Singapore arts and culture scene. For my travels, I hope my experience will make your next trip more fruitful and enjoyable.

Tadxon waterfall, Vientiane
Another good place to visit slightly out of Vientiance is the Tadxon waterfall, about 40 minutes drive from the centre.
While it is called a waterfall, we could not visit it currently as there was construction work being carrying out.
It seemed that the authority would be making this site a recreational place for Laos people. Many huts were built for families and friends to gather and have a feast.
You can order food and drinks from the restaurant and the staff would deliver them to the hut. The food was delicious.
While you were having a meal, the elephants would come and visit you. You could feed them. A gift (such as a bottle of beer) to the caretaker would be appreciated but not compulsory.
You could also take an elephant ride.
Tadxon waterfall is a good place to spend an afternoon but only if you have ample days in Vientiane.
