This blog includes my 2 interests: attending arts performances and travels. It serves as a documentation of the Singapore arts and culture scene. For my travels, I hope my experience will make your next trip more fruitful and enjoyable.

Johore Temple Festival 2013: The procession
A huge crowd was gathering outside City Square. Around 9:30 pm, the lion dance performance started at the VIP area.
Without the VVIP attending the ceremony this year, the procession proper started much earlier than last year.
I always enjoyed the demonstration of the waving of the big flag, though the huge crowd at the procession meant that the performers were constraint by space and safety concerns.
And the Hanianese Deity was the parade of the deities that I saw this year...
Procession of the other deities..
And of course, the dragon dance.
Another year at the procession. We left after 11 pm as we needed to catch the transport back. Here's for another year.
