Joss Stone's first concert in Singapore a triumph.


Joss Stone performed this evening at the Esplanande Concert Hall, as part of the Mosaic Festival.  It was her first concert in Singapore.  The lights went out at 7:35 pm, and after a brief introduction, Joss Stone came on stage with her 10-piece band and backing vocalists.  On the stage laid a large carpet
Joss Stone did not take long to work up the audience and at one point, she went down to the seats and invited some auidence to move to the front of the stage.  She also performed one of her familiar hits Super Duper Love (Are You Diggin' on Me?) as her third number, showing her confidence that she had equally strong matieral in the latter part of concert.

She performed several tracks from her latest album The Soul Sessions Vol 2, which included Womack and Womack's Teardrops.

Joss was in great form this evening and she connected well with the audience, teasing them at every instance.  Credit must also be given to the strong musicians, and the beautiful arrangement of the songs.

Joss ended the night with 3 songs,  The audience interupted her on a few occasions when she sang "Right to be wrong", pleading her not to leave.  She sang "
